Ms Arlyn Gordon has a broad range of expertise in BVI law. Her specialist areas include commercial law, property law and taxation law and advising on corporate compliance issues. Her client base includes local private clients, international law firms and corporate service providers.
She earned a Law Degree from the University of the West Indies in 1997 and a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica in 1999. In 2000 she obtained an LLM (Banking and Finance) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
She is admitted to practice in Jamaica and the British Virgin Islands.
Prior to joining the Chambers of Samuels Richardson & Co, Ms Gordon worked as one of the Senior Attorneys for the Government of the British Virgin Islands in its Civil and Commercial Crime Divisions. She has also worked with a US-based Property Developer in the British Virgin Islands as a member of its legal and compliance team.
Ms Gordon joined the Chambers of Samuels Richardson in 2012. She is a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths.
